Congratulations on the publication of your first Newsletter. There’s never been a better time to study metaphor with “credit crunch”, “bank bail outs”, “hedge fund blow ups”, “bundling loans”, “house-price bubble”,”economic melt down”, etc. etc.
Look forward to the next edition,

Hoorah for your metaphorum, Gina, and your invitation for responses. Having attended one of your introductory sessions, I was both moved and impressed with the quality and efficacy of the SyM process and Clean Language, particularly in your presentation of the material. As a practicing poetry therapist, I am ever seeking information about modalities that honor the intrinsic power of metaphorical language in both internal and interpersonal communication. Thank for all you’re doing to promote this valuable process.
As an aside, I am also seeking ways to clean up our day-to-day accepted language. I’d like us to stop “skirting issues,” “triggering responses,” being “struck by” insights, and “loving to death” our sweethearts.
I quite agree: metaphors matter
